Bas started in 2000 as a junior real estate advisor at De Boorder Bedrijfshuisvesting Makelaars in Utrecht. In 2007 Bas made the switch to Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) at the Amsterdam location where he was part of the national agency team Industrial & Logistics (tenant representation and leasing of commercial real estate). In 2012, he was appointed Head of Agency Industrial & Logistics Netherlands. In this position, Bas was in charge of all Industrial & Logistics agency teams throughout the Netherlands. These teams, spread over 3 offices, advise the occupiers and investors on all issues relating to leasing industrial real estate. In 2017 Bas broadened his focus and joined the Capital Markets Industrial & Logistics (purchase and sale of commercial real estate) in The Netherlands for which he also became overall responsible in 2018.

Being responsible for one of the most successful departments of the company, Bas was also part of the management team in the Netherlands. Bas now has 20 years of experience in the field of Industrial and logistics real estate. He has seen the logistics real estate market mature and therefore knows all relevant information and trends in the market. Thanks to his broad knowledge and experience, he is the perfect partner to deal with real estate challenges for occupiers, investors and developers. Bas is an all-round specialist with a large network in a business that is still growing in the Netherlands.
