Meijburg & Co extends lease in Amstelveen

1530 Real Estate has advised Meijburg & Co on the realization of a long-term lease extension for approximately 12,500 sqm of office space, located at Laan van Langerhuize 9 and 11 in Amstelveen.

In 2010, the built-to-suit building was developed for Meijburg. The building currently already has an energy label A and Meijburg and the landlord have made agreements with each other for the implementation of further sustainability. For example, LED lighting will be installed, capacity will be created for additional charging stations and the rented property will be equipped with a bGrid Smart Building system. Making the building Smart through bGrid ensures that the building systems acquire a particularly high degree of intelligence and adapt optimally to the needs of Meijburg. By applying this technology, Meijburg is able to, among other things, better control and automatically control energy consumption in order to realize significant savings.

These sustainability measures and the fact that the extension (after already 13 years) makes sustainable use of space endorses Meijburg’s sustainability ambitions.
