GLP concludes two new lease agreements for sustainable warehouse space in G-Park Lelystad

GLP announces the completion of two new lease agreements for its state-of-the-art sustainable warehouse space at G-Park Lelystad. The leased property comprises one unit of 8,096 sqm and two combined units with a total surface area of ​​16,209 sqm.

G-Park Lelystad is located at Lelystad Airport Business Park (LAB), within the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area. This business park is well connected by motorways, rail, waterways and air transport and offers a prime location for logistics companies. It is strategically positioned along the central logistics corridor from Amsterdam to Northern Germany and Scandinavia. The park’s role as a logistics hub will be further strengthened in the near future by the widening of the A6 and the development of the Flevokust container port.

G-Park Lelystad is BREEAM Excellent certified and contributes to sustainability by improving the CO2 balance, reducing energy and water consumption and opting for recyclable materials. The park is equipped with sensor-monitored LED lighting, cladding for natural light, solar panels and charging points for electric cars and bicycles. Social areas are heated with underfloor heating, powered by a heat pump, which ensures energy efficiency. In addition, the park has a building management system and energy monitoring. Biodiversity is supported with plants and insect hotels.

In 2024, the development of phase 1, consisting of four units with a total of 32,987 sqm of warehouse space, was completed. Only one unit of approximately 8,000 sqm is still available for rent. Phase 2 of G-Park Lelystad, which also consists of four units with a total of 32,967 sqm of warehouse space, is now under development and will be available from Q2 2025.
