POLSPOTTEN rents multifunctional space in the heart of Amsterdam

POLSPOTTEN signs a lease agreement for the ‘Westerhuis’ located at Westerstraat 187 in Amsterdam. The lease includes approximately 732 sqm of brand store/showroom and office space located on the ground floor.

POLSPOTTEN is a globally known Dutch design brand. Since 1986 POLSPOTTEN has stood for unconventional, elegant and innovative design. The brand sells its world-famous collection of vases, glassware and furniture directly to consumers in the Benelux, France and Germany. In addition, POLSPOTTEN supplies to luxury department stores worldwide, such as Bijenkorf, Breuninger, Selfridges, and Lane Crawford.

POLSPOTTEN was looking for an attractive, visible location in the city center of Amsterdam that would provide space for its growth ambitions. An important wish was to combine a new brand store/showroom for business customers and office space in one place. 1530 Real Estate found the ideal solution through its own network, which was not actively offered. This concerns the Westerhuis, which is located in a beautiful location in the Jordaan with a spacious communal garden. The cohesion of creative companies in the building fits well with the culture and identity of POLSPOTTEN. The space on the ground floor offers the ideal mix due to its structure. The brand store/showroom will be realized at the front, making use of the impressive facade with many windows. The rear and the basement will be used as office space.
