1530 Real Estate advises Amazone Real Estate on the sale of a logistics development

Amazone Real Estate has sold a new-build development to Frasers Property Industrial. The development includes the construction of a new logistics building with a total area of 36,497 m² in Lelystad. Construction of this new logistics development will start in December 2023.

Goldbeck Netherlands B.V. has been appointed as the construction partner for this project. Located in the province of Flevoland, with strategic proximity to Amsterdam, the A6 motorway and the nearby Flevokust Barge Terminal, the new location makes it attractive for companies looking to easily connect throughout the Netherlands, Central Europe, the United Kingdom and Northern Europe .

The development consists of two units, designed in collaboration with Convexarchitecten. The development will also feature facilities that promote employee health and wellbeing, such as a rooftop terrace and outdoor recreation options.

The development aims to achieve a BREEAM Excellent certification for the new development, which will feature PV solar panels, smart metering, gray water use and a VRF heating system to ensure resource efficiency. Other sustainability features include charging points for electric vehicles, such as bicycles and cars, as well as landscaping to support ecological biodiversity, such as planting and insect hotels.
